Remember Every
Conversation.
Like A Friend.

What does it feel like when a business really knows you? That was the question behind Exotel’s #LikeAFriend campaign.

Exotel connects customer conversations across channels, teams and AI. Enki Studio’s task was to turn that invisible capability into an experience anyone could recognise. We chose a day that starts with familiar rituals, slips into the frustration of being treated like a stranger, and ends with someone who remembers without being asked.

An 80-second story about the relief of being known.

01 / The brief

Making an Invisible Promise Feel Human

The film makes the customer’s experience the point of entry.

Customer experience can sound abstract when described through systems, channels and workflows. For the person seeking help, it is immediate: does the next person understand what has already happened?

The campaign needed to show the cost of lost context without becoming a product explainer. We built the narrative around one recognisable irritation: a small problem that gets bigger every time the customer has to repeat himself.

The technology stays in the background. The feeling it should create leads the film.

02 / The idea

Someone Who Knows You Remembers

We looked for a relationship where recognition is effortless. The dog at home knows his person’s rhythms, moods and arrival before a word is spoken. That gave the campaign a simple emotional language for memory and context.

The dog is the heart of the story because the relationship makes Exotel’s promise tangible: every interaction should begin with what is already known.

Familiarity is established in the small rituals of an ordinary morning.

The dog’s quiet recognition becomes the film’s emotional answer.

03 / The narrative

One Day. Three Shifts in Feeling.

We let the story do the explaining. An easy morning establishes what it means to be known. A declined card sends the customer through calls, menus and transfers. Each new voice asks him to start again. When he comes home, the pattern finally breaks.

01 · Familiar
The same café, the same order, the comfort of routine.

02 · Forgotten
Another handoff means another explanation from the beginning.

03 · Known
At home, no verification or retelling is needed.

04 / The storytelling

Letting Remembers Do the Work

The middle of the film is deliberately repetitive. A card issue that should take one conversation travels with the customer through his day, while the context does not. The repeated requests for details make the friction felt before Exotel’s message appears.

At home, the edit slows. Warmth replaces interruption, and the dog’s welcome carries the answer. The closing line gives a name to the feeling: Remember every conversation. Every context. Every time.

A problem follows the customer from the street into the working day.

The homecoming changes the film’s pace and emotional register.
